Once you’ve downloaded an Easy Cut Pop-up™ Pattern, print it on a piece of card stock paper. Most patterns will take 2-3 sheets. You’ll need scissors and dry adhesive like double-sided tape or roller tape, however most patterns are glue-less. A paper clip and ruler are optional.

Step 1 : Scoring Your Fold Lines

(VIDEO TIP) Scoring your fold-lines helps make clean crisp folds. If you’re an avid crafter, your embossing tool is perfect.

Step 2 : Cutting the Parts

(VIDEO TIP) Cutting out the parts, is like cutting out a Valentines heart, it’s that easy. Some patterns have semi-intricate cuts, but nothing too complex. But the results are beautiful.

Step 3 : Fold Dimensional

(VIDEO TIP) Folding dimensional is just a fancy way of saying folding. As long as you fold along the fold-lines, it’s self explanatory. Use the cover photo of the pattern as a guide.

Step 4 : Connect the Slot-on Pedals

Parts typically connect to each other slot-to-slot.

Step 5 : Insert the Slot-on Pedals to the Base Fold

Step 6 : Attach the Base Fold to the Cover

(VIDEO TIP) Apply the adhesive tape to to the outer edge on the back side of the base fold. Keep an even margin at the top and outer edges when attaching it to the inside of the cover. Some patterns are glue-less and use an interlocking slot-to-slot technique.

Press the card flat to secure the base fold to the cover and that’s it!
